Shittiest part of the year is when the temperature is stable between 9C and 15C, it rains constantly. Anybody complaining about dry cold is a pussy bitch, real misery is when it's wet (raining). Also WVNTER enacts TMD (total mosquito death) which is necessary.

I actually quite like winter
Snow is pretty, the cold gives you an excuse to wear your nice coats and there are many cozy experiences which can only happen in the snow
>sharing a scarf with your significant other
>sharing hot cocoa with the same, or with friends
>sitting in a restaurant looking longingly out the window at fallen leaves and/or falling snow
>shoveling snow (good, hard work)
>sitting in the car shivering while you wait for it to warm up which only lasts a couple minutes but it's just miserable enough that you're so much more grateful for the heat than you would be if you weren't that cold
>Christmas in general
Also Letty is cute and this is her season so it's good

When I lived in Montana winter was quite pleasant because of the snow, unfortunately for Virginia it almost never snows here and everything just becomes dead and cold and then whenever there's precipitation it suddenly becomes 40 degrees and rains instead

Bill Gates says Mosquitos are le good doe, they're nature's syringe. Annoying yes but honestly I'd rather ticks go extinct instead if I had a choice between annihilating one of the two, at least one comes and goes while the other lingers if you don't constantly strip and check your body from head to toe to find those little fuckers. It's an even bigger pain in the ass when I have to check my dog for them.

Honestly I don't mind snow, I have fond memories of building rows of snowmen with my siblings, what I do however hate is when it inevitably melts here and turns into black ice.
