i got uber one for 40 bucks the entire year and yeah slop comes out to 20ish plus tip so literally the same as of i went out to a restaurant
papa johns in my area has 2for1 pizza and for 20 dollars in total for delivery is insanaely cheap desu

I remember going to one in 2012 that offered 2 bigass t-bone stakes with fries, a giant bowl of crab salad and ice cream as dessert, with all the drinks included,it was like 10€/person ($12).

I'm morally opposed to Uber/doordash/etc slop meal delivery services that aren't delivery offered by the store itself. It's blind consumerism at it's finest; you sit your fat stupid ass on the couch, tap your disgusting Dorito dust stained fingers over to the app, which is probably in some capacity owned by china, and then put in an order which the cooks HAVE to prioritize over dine-in orders in order to get it out at a certain time, meaning in-house customers wait longer on your lazy ass. It all culminates in some jeet or mexican wasting his gas to bring you food for often times no tip and sub minimum wages.

Fuck Uber eats, Idgaf about their 2 for 1 niggerslop deal.

A lot of places don't offer in-house delivery only because Uber and doordash were cheaper to operate. Purely the fault of those companies.
And certain places do have in-houses at 3 AM. Anywhere 24/7 is active at those hours. This means diners especially but as an aggregate any restaurant that makes actual food (ie not fast food places) has to put in house tipped orders on hold for to-gos
