A woman's loyalties do not lie with her man, her loyalties are with her children. When you understand this, a lot of the dynamics around dating, infidelity, divorce and feminism make sense. In surveys, the majority of men said they'd die for their wife, while almost no women said they'd die for their husband.
Women evolved through necessity to be far more detached emotionally from their husband than the man is to her. If you die, she'll likely replace you within a year and not think about you all that much after. And a woman will always be on the lookout for the bigger better deal, every woman has their list of fallback guys. If she finds a "better" guy than you and the risk/reward math is good, most women will trade you up rather quickly if they can achieve it, which is why most divorces are initiated by the woman. Even your perfect traditional virgin wife is going to have thoughts like "I wish his dick was bigger", "Is he tall enough?", "Could I get a rich guy?".
A mistake I see many young men make is thinking their future wife is going to be their best friend in some sort of "partners in crime" enduring romance. But the woman doesn't see it that way, for her, her relationship with you is transactional. For pre-Christian Odinist men (women couldn't even get into heaven or Valhalla), they recognized the transactional nature of women, with the tradeoff being she will give you children. They recognized OTHER MEN were their friends, not their woman, and they allied with these other men to, as a society, police women as a whole and force them into being more faithful to their man than they would be naturally.
If you cannot police women in your society, then you MUST match her level of detachment. If you beat your head against the wall trying to force her to be something she by nature cannot be, then you will end up like Elliot Rodger.
