There are already tons organizations that focus on making jokes year round. We don't need a day for amateurs to try their hand at comedy. They would contribute more to the world if they just did what they were good at. The reason why I hate April fools is because its the day when talented people forsake their talents to make dumb jokes instead.

As an example, youtube gets flooded with shit videos by youtubers who otherwise make good content.
