Also do not forget, healthcare/diagnostics associate degrees are overwhelmingly dominated by women, so good luck trying to get in the private sector (even in research).
The only advantage of being a man in healthcare is at emergency services (paramedics) and being a nurse or med, just because most of these are not cushy/sitting on your ass jobs and women avoid having to do stuff physically.
At this point, unless you can have a job like immediately after graduating, don't get into a field.
