I miss my old man so much… He was already very old when I was born, I used to watch history and soyence documentaries on TV channels like National Geographic, Discovery and History Channels and old movies with him. He also had many cassette tapes with old cartoons from the 1940s to 1960s which I grew up watching. I used to go to a bar with him and when he got too drunk he couldn't drive, so I would walk his drunken ass home… I was 6 to 9 years old at the time. Due to some familiar drama him and my mom had to live in separate houses, I didn't liked to stay at my mom's because my half siblings (both my parents had children from previous marriages) would mistreat me, probably due to resentment since my mom quite literally ran away with my father, so I would do everything I could to stay with my dad. I once ran away from my mother's house and went to my father's house, everyone panicked since I disappeared.
He has been dead for a longer time than the time I have spent with him and I even came to resent him for a while because he didn't took care of his health and neither prepared a will, creating some shitty familiar drama between the family from his first and the second marriages, making my life a hell ever since he died (we got shit and had to live in a state of almost poverty). But I'll forever value the lessons he gave me and the time I spent with him.
I can't believe I posted in the wrong thread again AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. But now I'd like to add that this probably explains why old people seems to like me so much.
