>>231700if you live long enough here you can somehow tell apart Koreans from Kazakhs most of the times
they have phenotypes differing from those typical to Kazakhs, slight details give clue
not that Kazakhs aren't mostly Mongoloid (one avtist has written about this on Quora, I'll post it), but there are also different Mongoloid subraces, like Northern East Asian (typical to the Evenks) and Southern East Asian (typical to the Southern Chinese)
the Northern East Asian subrace is basic to both Kazakhs and Koreans, but it's weaker in Kazakhs cuz while the core ancestry was Northern East Asian, the Amur subgroup, after arriving in Central Asia, that core absorbed non-Mongoloid groups. So most Kazakhs, not always, but often, have features like somewhat lighter hair and eye pigmentation, darker or sometimes atypically lighter skin, a bit bigger noses, somewhat wider eyes (compared to typical strongly epicanthic eyes of the Evenks for instance) even doe epicanthus is still there most of the times, more androgenic hair, and rarely even green eyes
these slight features distinguish Kazakhs from Koreans (who, if I'm not wrong, have Southern East Asian influences from farming peoples, nonexistent in Kazakhs) most of the times
but not always, sometimes even I can't tell apart, there are instances where Koreans are objectively indistinguishable from Kazakhs and vice versa
