It's okay to make fun of this person because they are a pedophile (from what I know; "grooming" could mean a number of things but I'm assuming it's grooming in the sexual sense, and it's all bad regardless of the nature of the grooming. Kids should not have any ideas forked onto them by bad actors, regardless of the nature of these ideas or how well intentioned they may - or may not - be.)
