Foot binding is really one of the ugliest aspects of Chinese history and the worst part of it is that we can’t even blame other cultures for it
Unlike the queue haircut which the Manchus forced upon us the foot binding shit was all fostered by Han nobility
The Japanese and Koreans never adopted this barbaric practice either and this makes it one of the most embarrassing things about Han history and culture
