Eat less deep fried food. Avoid sugared soda and booze. Those are empty calories. Club soda/diet soda is a nice substitute.
Try to use less condiments on food. Mexicans dump all sorts of sauces on a lot of their foods and drink sugared coke like water, which is why they look like diabeto.
If you get fast food, avoid combos with fries. Just get the sandwich and a low calorie drink. Fries don't keep you full.
