>>252068YSRL is an ultraconservative state, many people hyperfixate on DA JOOS as if it's that that makes Israel le bad. Israel is basically the same as any other middle eastern state where it's a hyper right wing theocracy basically and they're intent on using violence to get their way. (Certain kinds of) leftists do not like to acknowledge this because they fell for the psyop and are afraid of criticizing Israel for fear of being anti-semitic while (again, certain stripes of) rightoids do not like to acknowledge this because it paints right wing ideology in a negative light, and the ones who do dislike Israel completely miss the point and be like "they bad because they Jews" because some autistic faggot from the 1930s says so. We know Hitler was an autistic chúd because he didn't participate in the Christmas truce, so he's a negative nancy and probably not worth listening to. In any case the anti-YSRL rightoids will sometimes cynically bring up actual grievances with Israel like that they're expansionist and genocidal but it falls flat because they would do the same shit if they had the opportunity. Like most things rightoids in power or positions of influence say it's a lie made solely in the interest of advancing their dominance.
The end result is only one section of the population actually criticizes bibi and they're hated by the other three, for being anti-semitic or woke or both. The logical conclusion (that Israel should exist, but not be allowed to aggress, like every other nation on the planet) thusly becomes the rarest as people are pigeonholed into either blind support, fervent hatred, or inaction out of fear. When you consider how much influence the Israeli government probably had behind the scenes, it becomes hard not to think about the entire Israel discourse as one big poisoned well.
I've pointed to the Nike example a few times but back in around 2016 or whenever the fuck this happened, some football player refused to kneel or stand or whatever for the national anthem. This made rightoids babyrage so Nike supported him. Rightoids burned their Nike shoes on Twitter in response. In response to THAT, leftoids bought Nike to spite them and I think Nike ended up making some crazy amount of money, the number I remember is 4-6 bil but I could be wrong. Reason I say this is I think Israel could be pulling a Nike. Do evil shit, leftoids make an outrage, rightoids react, because they always do, in order to oppose the woke mob or somesuch. YSRL has a unique position here because they have the religious angle. Being closer in religious DNA to Christians and exploiting the American prejudice against Muslims lets them paint themselves as the good guys in terms of vibes while they clearly aggress and overreact against an entire nation in response to the actions of a terrorist group. Just food for thought.
