From my experience on der shcrüms you tend to associate images with words because you think you're looking at an image but you're actually paying attention to the words. What I'm saying is if you use pictures of the kitty cats it might be possible to psyop him into thinking they're speaking or it's their will, especially if you make ai gifs of them moving their mouths like they are speaking.
