>>258593People have jobs and other things in life that make them move on even though we all love eachother and the community so much, this place is sustainable unlike the other shit though, the stuff that you're thinking of has all gone to dust, people move along and fall out of contact

I created this place to shove some of the best and brightest people I got to meet into one place in a sustainable format and this actually worked out and formed an organism even though it's usually an insanae circus on the outside
I got to create it because I was so popular online but the internet is quiet now and I replaced my adventures with a private life in time, this place is a byproduct of that golden era
We were mostly intelligent kids who browsed 4chan and the pandemic made us neets which made the internet super crazy and cool, thought these things could survive with some careful work but too many mentally ill retards tried blowing it up and then the internet got quiet, none of the kids get into 4chan and become cool either, replacement rate is zero
I'm writing this so that you guys can have more agency though, this place miraculously exists and has a heartbeat without me because the people are so worthwhile, I didn't even create this community and people predate me which I like

All this to show you guys where it came from and that things are mostly over for my part since you should know
If it dies I'm good
But I don't think it will

>>258593>>258590man… I don't want to see kog die but tf2 itself is indeed declining
at least the grass is greener on the other side, this site is more discussion friendly and future proof

>>258612It's okay~! I'm able to say it all because the bad stuff is over and we're in a golden land now even if it's less loud and with less reactive chemistry, you only become able to say it once the bad times are over
Worst of it was friends getting doxxed and shit while people were trying to destroy the tf2 community years ago, goddamned internet warzone
>>258613Yeah it's about trying to stay together versus the passage of time, I can skip days and try pumping it up whenever which works well and we all get to see eachother but other mediums like chat servers or different games can't contain it, super rocky. The entire thing was almost permanently scattered and destroyed by immigration though so this outcome I created is really fortunate
Every community goes through the same questions of mortality

golden land you say

>>258606I'm assuming you are the admin? Even though I don't participate at all I like reading what you guys talk about and I find this place super fun.
>internet is quiet nowI have observed this as well. I used to see actual real human beings participating in open discussions just several years ago, but all I see now is LLM automated spam. Sometimes I wonder where everyone has went, because clearly everyone is on their phones. Did Discord absorb all online discussion or am I missing something?
