Self discipline and clarity of the mind is incredibly important for enjoying your life.
I want to savor every moment of my life.
That's why I do not drink, I do not smoke, I do not do recreational drugs.

That's why I do not doomscroll xitter or 4chan or any other thing like that.
That's why I watch my diet and what I eat. Controlling not only my caloric intake but also my nutrition and eating healthy foods.
It's all a rat race to get temporary self pleasure. It's easy to fall into that trap if you don't have discipline.
Life is best enjoyed by living in the moment, raw and true.
Could I do all of the vices I mentioned? Yes, everyday all day. Nobody is going to stop me. But I don't because I have self respect. I have a set routine. I exercise at least 30 minutes a day. I don't sleep in. You get the picture.
Life is incredibly amazing, you just have to take agency in your life yo see it.
