I'm not too sure if humans are a blank slate. we have some pretty hardwired behaviours in us. like in prehistoric times, instead of fucking your sister, you'd start thinking that kidnapping and raping one of the girls from the next tribe over and if there were no woman male populations would get pretty prison gay. we're also preprogrammed to get anxious when walking past someone we don't know when we aren't in a group and this anxiety increases the less someone looks life you. it's pretty much the reason you might cross the street then you see someone of a different race or religion walking towards you.
