>>294645 Nah I just want the challenge and I should be able to considering I reasoned my way out of the bad part of the trip yesterday >>294644 Google says you're right but yesterday was absurd af after several days of taking some so it'll probably be really crazy doing 33% more
I'm gonna take a tolerance break for a few days and then do two grams, the revelations, refurbished mental faculties and new thought patterns have made life better in every way
If you think about it, drugs help our creations remain eternally fresh and modern because the experiences that human beings derive from each drug remain the same across generations This must be why The Doors is so good
>>294658 I think my body doesn't really interact with nicotine because I don't get many effects from it and I don't get addicted either Nicotine alone is 100% harmless aside from the addiction that develops Smoking tobacco it is harmful and kills you yes Overall nicotine is a bit like caffeine where it's just whatevs and is a part of daily life so there's no need to collect an opinion on it imo
>>294657 I'm seeing something like this in an OldWorldFlorida video He's saying that astrology is profound because all peoples across the world are exposed to the same stars, which is the origin of convergently evolving cultural elements
>>294665 I was told they taste bad But I was looking forward to frying some in butter and getting high off of that Apparently if you turn it into a tea you get more high tho But I need to research that claim
>>294663 > If you think about it, drugs help our creations remain eternally fresh and modern because the experiences that human beings derive from each drug remain the same across generations A lot of drugs that are out now didn't exist for most of human history and some of the ones that do exist are much more powerful due to different routes of administration, drug refining, and selective breeding.
> Nicotine alone is 100% harmless aside from the addiction that develops Nicotine is harmful on its own. Even though it isn't a carcenogen it still increases your blood pressure and can increase your risk of heart disease. It also reduces your REM sleep and sleep time. Still way less harmful than smoking.
>>294666 From what I've read, psilocybin mushrooms (if that's what you are taking) lose potency if you cook them because it destroys the psilocybin. I also read that they don't taste nearly as bad if you eat them fresh. Fresh psilocybin mushrooms have water in them so you need to eat more weight to get the general effect and fresh mushrooms generally act faster than dried because they contain the active form of psilocybin (psilocin) which means your body dosen't have to convert the psilocybin into psilocin to get the effect.
I haven't tried anything myself, that's just what I've read about them.
>>294671 I think the colony will continue expanding over the straw for 9 more days, then I put a layer of casing soil over the top which makes the colony start producing fruit, and then I can harvest after 2 weeks
My mushroom colony got raped by mold Thankfully I didn't have my hopes up since the failure rate is relatively high outside of lab type environments I removed mold I could find from the bag and changed the setup so that it'll produce less humidity, and maybe the mycelium will win the war And I transplanted very healthy mycelium to a coin jar after wiping it with isopropyl, so maybe that one will succeed as a clone
The splinter colonies to my original bag are currently doing well, meaning that the low oxygen environment may have sufficiently weakened the mold I will try using our compost machine's output grains as substrate for an additional transplant experiment I can also probably use the sand from my gecko's terrarium for some experimentation as well
Dis was so cool These are agar plates and you can see mycelium squirted on it I have two sterlized corn grain jars with injection ports that I'll inject once they reach room temp All of these might fail too though lole it's all brutal
>>294688 do everything in your power to keep them alive because life is precious and gyate babies understand this so if the mushroom colonies die they'll be sad
>>294689 What happened is that they arrived 3 days earlier than expected which means they were frozen in a mailbox for a lil bit there lole Since it's liquid mycelium and not spores it's at higher risk of dying from below 0 but I thawed it super slowly in a fridge and the appearance looks good to me I have a bunch of one syringe injected in the grow bag, the other one is going in the corn jars and two agar plates, and what's left of the first one is on two agar plates
>>294688 The agar plates failed because I don’t have a laminar flow hood and bacteria got in but the jars of sterilized corn kernels are working The syringes were frozen in the mail but the mycelium survived actually It's eating two jars of corn slowly I would need a lab environment then I would shake a jar out into some substrate and it would take over the substrate and make mushrooms Maybe I can do it outside since there's no bacteria or mold in the air at these temperatures
>>355876 >>355884 Meds >>355881 It's the first time they've fruited but when they bloom is when the cap opens up and they shoot spores You're supposed to pick them before that happens or so
>>357459 This is proof homosexuality is unnatural because life needs oxygen to exist and oxygen makes mushrooms look less like penises therefore it's kind of like life itself discouraging gayness
>>357505 It was actually more phallic with less oxygen because it was trying to push upwards to find more oxygen, while now that it has found oxygen, it's flaring outward to fire spores in a larger radius
>>364040 I wanna do something like that very soon but you build a tolerance quickly and lose the tolerance quickly, if I picked 3 large ones it would be about 6 grams or more which is what the normies call a heroic dose, eating all of them is a bad idea but wouldn't kill, it's easier to die from caffeine overdose I'd probably eat 3 full sized ones fresh, but it was hard to walk when I was ultra high on them which I dislike They taste the same as any other mushroom from a store but I dislike the dried ones, I even choked on a dry one because they're a bit like rocks and I didn't expect it, I'll wait an extra day to pick these ones to prolong their lives most likely, they dry out naturally in most conditions and are sold that way on the street They haven't done anything weird to me because I know what to expect now it seems, I'm gonna be on them all the time aside from the tolerance breaks because they bind to serotonin receptors and I respond poorly to serotonin
an aspie on youtube practices fly agaric microdosing, he assures that parents should give that to their autistic kids and that it's the ultimate panacea for autism
>>364047 Gonna take on the groomer act and propose you use a large dose as soon as you feel confident so you have a chance for mystical experience which is a really cool thing to live through at least once (you don't have to be religious or schizotypal for those btw.) Even difficult trips are fine with shrooms since they are so short-acting and nontaxing. > I dislike the dried ones You can try breaking them into small chunks and brewing them in an acidic and sweet tea. Btw gotta take 4 g dried with some homemade Δ⁸-THC for the first time probably this weekend, I've read that they mix pretty well, getting excited already.
>>364134 I was in the mystical psychosis state twice or so but I think they last long enough for you to destroy your life before they wear off lol I'll try more things out throughout my life since I want to remain on a serotonin suppressor essentially I took 3 an hour ago
>>364135 I dunno about psychosis, I'm talking about formal definition that is experiencing something deeply profound, maybe interpersonal, highly emotional and indescribable and you get there only with either very high dose, or drug combinations, or through various schizomonk techniques. Maybe you're talented and get there easily but I kinda doubt it since most people react identically to the same drug from my exp. > I took 3 an hour ago Hope my lazy brainwashing works then since you're in a suggestible state now lmao
>>364144 Yeah I was calling all the mysticism psychosis, you should read about Jerusalem psychosis which is pretty similar and thought provoking, also knew a guy from around here sort of that developed psychosis and it never subsided, he was a normie and he wasn't taking any drugs, just spews babble about enlightenment and universal oneness all day
>>364148 nah you don't know what are you talking about, but i don't think i should nag you anymore. >>364134 that was unsurprisingly boring but unexpectedly therapeutic.
