dearest brazilian meiling >>354110 switch is okay. wii pushes its shit in any day of the week. fe3h was good ("good" might be a bit too much praise, it was okay and I definitely have my gripes with it but it was more pleasant than not overall) and many of the 1st party shittendo games released for it are good. I've not played the zelda games but splatoon was good. After playing 3h both on emulator and hardware, there's a nice feeling to actually holding the switch in your hands but it lacks the sovl of the wii, wii u, and 3ds. I feel like those 3 consoles were where nintendo peaked, and I think nintendies realized this and the switch was their attempt to roll them all into one but it ended up being an eraserhead baby of a console in the end with very little unique to its name. The quality issues on release were also VERY disappointing coming from Nintendo of all companies, who are supposed to have that NIHONGO SAMURAI level of attention to detail or somesuch. Lazy people don't exist in Japan, according to westerners. anyways, normies will buy it regardless but its kind of sad to see nintendo losing that sparkle. It feels like they're very much so trying to innovate less but with the current state of video games what really is there to innovate on anymore? most things that arent stupid gimmicks have been tried already, motion controls were the last big thing and until someone learns how to make a VR headset that is >not dogshit >not stupidly expensive >doesn't give you motion sickness vr/ar won't see mass adoption.
I've said it before, I wish they'd just lean into the nostalgia and build on it. There's a real appetite rn for the past given people are starting to realize how badly the industry sucks and modern capitalism (or whatever you want to call it) sucks the fun out of everything, hence the obsession with le frutiger aero and such nonsense. If they took the Wii, retooled it so it wasn't weak as shit, and gave it a new lineup of 1st party games and simply resold it, I betcha it'd sell.
