if there's any political message at all I'll probably suss it out and come to my own conclusion about it, just send whatever you think is cool. besides, the only jap I've seen make any real substantive political commentary through their work is Kojima and even then it seems like he's more concerned with telling a cool story and the politics are a side dish for whenever his autistic hyperfixation on nuclear deterrence comes back around, I think that's probably the jap mindset in general, so I don't usually expect hard-hitting serious politics from anime.
