if there's any political message at all I'll probably suss it out and come to my own conclusion about it, just send whatever you think is cool. besides, the only jap I've seen make any real substantive political commentary through their work is Kojima and even then it seems like he's more concerned with telling a cool story and the politics are a side dish for whenever his autistic hyperfixation on nuclear deterrence comes back around, I think that's probably the jap mindset in general, so I don't usually expect hard-hitting serious politics from anime.

Watching while lying in bed, really enjoying it. Wouldve been baller as shit to see this as a kid.

Also it's very interesting to see their depiction of a luxurious environment back then, and how it's basically a park. Fountain, apple trees, etc. Seems like a chill place.

Cool to see a black person (who is actually black, not like dark skinned japanese) who isn't a complete minstrel in general lole. My point is it's kind of interesting to see a black person just be there with no fanfare. I wonder if this is a thing in older anime or if it's just this one.

The ending was pretty cool, too. I like that it was kinda inspired by that shit we shot out into space for aliens to read.
