>>104038 She's like a mix of meowbah and budsforbuddies. She has a mix of both of their styles, but she dosen't do them as well as either meowbah or buds. She's like a jack of all trades.
Idk much about the gacha life troll community though so idk how derivative her work is (or budsforbuddies for that matter).
>>105047 > what is her gimmick supposed to be She is an alien. She is part of Phase connect's "Phase Invaders" generation.
I like her because she plays programming games, factory games, and puzzle games. She also makes a music (composition, production, lyrics, and singing) but I don't really like vtuber music. She made some of the BGMs for the phase connect vtubers.
Just watched some Dooby3D clips and I honestly don't see the appeal. I don't see the appeal of any of the hololiver's I've watched. I tried watching gawr gura and she sucked. IDK how anyone likes hololive.
>>319527 omg its just like having a fellow female frienderino who cares she's unfunny as fuck and not interesting even a bit, she is ATTRACTIVE and HERE as if I have a cute GIRL FRIEND
We live in an era with the best tranime design (when it comes to faces at least (fuck clannad and fuck the 80s-90s-early/mid 00s)) Also more proof for "Pog" being a zashkvarenniy/zakontachenniy meme because dumb vtuber normaltranny cuntoids use it
Is cunny a normie thing now or what? Between lolikami blowing up whenever it did and all kinds of chuubas (mainly asmr ones) using it as part of their branding (fallenshadow comes to mind, but there are others who kind of dip their toes into it, stronny cuttles is a good example) im starting to worry that loli is becoming normalized. this will only make men lonelier than they already are bc for most women who arent terminally online loli is the biggest ick imaginable.
>>319591 Some people post this girl and say it's her as well (might be the same girl).
I think she struggles with mental illness so the baldness could be due to pulling her hair out (although she's never said she does that before AFAIK.) If that was the case then the baldness would be reversible. She's also said that her hair would get all knotted up because she didn't comb it. Which is a point against being bald.
I don't really care what pippa looks like very much so I haven't looked into her dox. Why would I care what a vtuber looks like in real life? I watch them because I find them funny, interesting, or relatable and like their anime avatars, that's all I need for entertainment. She's probably not good looking because she doesn't think anyone had a crush on her in high school, she's missing 3 of her teeth, somebody thought she was homeless while walking her dog, her hands and feet have a weird shape, she got bullied a lot (If you are super hot you're less likely to get bullied, and probably won't be bullied a lot, it can still happen but it's a lot less common), and probably some other stuff that I'm forgetting.
>>319612 >No, Lolicon is normalized to some extent in the anime community This isn't 2009, 90% of anime fans now are covid era shonenheads who think loli or every anime that isn't jjk/dbz is diddy ahh epstein blud media
>>319615 I'd say it still has the end effect of normalization but this is probably true. Then again, I wouldn't be shocked in the slightest if it turned out at least 50% of vtubers are loli/shota loving fujos
>>319599 > If it were the case that my enemy suffered two punches for every punch I took, I would allow myself to get beaten to the verge of death so that my enemy would die.
>>319623 I have an obsessive personality. Before I got into Jelly Hoshiumi this I was praying to Akari Akaza every day while trying to emulate some of her habits. I also tried finding messages on how to design the a society based on yuru yuri, and became obsessed with all of the the background imagery, believing that they hid esoteric symbols in the background art. I would also try to translate any japanese in the background art. I also would make calculations based on what I saw in the anime and use those calculations in the formulation of my new religion. > At Yuru Yuri ep 1, 4:58, There is a building with four rectangles in it, each rectangle has 8 window panes per floor with 4 floors a building, four buildings is (* 8 4 4) = 128 window panes. In 5:47 ep 1 there are 2 window panes per room, so we have 64 rooms. There are 30 students per room, (* 30 64) is 1920 students total in namori middle school.
You can physically feel the cope and false positivity. It's so obviously fake that it makes me laugh. She had a mental breakdown 10 days after she said this.
>>319622 >>319633 I sent her messages every day she was gone to try cheer her up but when she came back to stream she said that she didn't check any of her accounts during the entire period so all my effort it didn't matter lol. One of them I spent like 3 hours honing to perfection. >>319630 thanks
>>319601 https://virtualyoutuber.fandom.com/wiki/Amiaryllis_Bloo > She faked her own death and created multiple fake vtuber corporations with every member being herself (including a fake boyfriend) This was aryan until she deleted her accounts after the backlash.
I'm convinced the guy who made this video legit has sub 90 iq. He responds to tons of vtuber clips with the most retarded jokes and his own videos are extremely moronic.
Finally got around to watching a vtuber. I've never seriously watched one outside of asmr because vtubers and asmr kind of bleed together (and there's this weird phenomenon where lots of asmr youtubers eventually become vtubers for some reason) so this was my first time. I watched her Hitman gameplay.
Conclusion: This little study confirmed most of what I originally thought of vtubers. They're a strange subgenre of streaming that is primarily differentiated from regular streamers by their intense and often intentional fostering of parasocial relationships and using sex appeal - I STRONGLY believe these character designs, especially in more organized outfits like Hololive, are designed FOR hentai - to maximize dopamine.
The quality of the stream itself wasn't super good, she didn't know what she was doing in the game, which led to some funny moments, but Shiori herself isn't very funny, generally, and I think it's the same way for most vtubers.
That said, it wasn't unbearable or an exceptionally bad stream by any means, I think Shiori was probably trying too much in terms of doing le anime girl voice, and I've noticed that as a trend among vtubers. It might be her actual speaking voice but I highly highly doubt it and tbh I think using her regular speaking voice might mesh better with the whole persona she has going on. On that note, the stream wasn't as sexualized as I thought it would be - From the outside looking in at vtubers, it generally seems to be goonbait more often than not, but after actually sitting down and watching a vtuber, I think those moments are more the exception than the rule. I still find it manipulative and kind of disturbing (in the context that, they have kids watching more often than not) that they even have clippable moments of goonbait but it's not really as huge a deal nor an aspect of vtuber culture as I initially thought.
Overall, 5.5/10 experience. At least her little character is cute to look at.
>>319647 Not every vtuber uses sex appeal. Jelly Hoshiumi (my favorite vtuber) dosen't goon bait. > Hololive I've never found any good streamer from Hololive. They are usually too "seiso" for my liking. That being said I haven't looked at very many Hololive vtubers (mainly just Gawr Gura, Pekora, Korone, Fubuki, Kiara, Gigi). I kinda like Gigi but she's the only one that I find bearable. Whenever I watch Gawr Gura I want to choke her to death because she is so fucking boring. I've only watched her like 3 times. I don't really know how she became the most popular vtuber.
I don't usually watch the vtubers that are super sexual because I would just look at porn if I wanted to get aroused. There's no reason at all to watch goonbait (ecchi or vtubers) when you can just watch/read porn.
I like vtubers that say things I find funny (mostly controversial stuff), Pipkin Pippa was a good example although she's gotten more tame. Taboo themes are mostly unexplored in the realm of anime girls so I find it refreshing to watch anime girls be uncouth in various ways. Either through violating sexual taboos (such as Himemia Rie talking about how she wants to have sex with her brother) or through violating political taboos (Like Pippa referencing lolcow culture or far right politics). I like phase connect as a corporation because most of the members seem mentally ill. The seiso cutesy wholesome big chungus vtubers are just a worse version of moe anime, The goon tubers are just a less arousing version of porn so there's no reason to watch them either. I've never liked ASMR so I don't watch ASMR either. IDK if I'm autistic or something but the ASMR noises are actual torture to listen to. I also like the vtubers who act super hyper such as Filian or Chibidoki but I'm not a huge fan. I usually just watch clips of them like once a month.
>>319649 I like Jelly Hoshiumi because she frequently says violent/sociopathic stuff (see >>319572), she occasionally acts sexist or homophobic, she talks about eating animals, and she has strange political opinions (like defending eugenics). I also like how her fans call themselves a cult, call her "jerry" say she's a femboy, say that she smokes, and otherwise troll her in good fun. It is nice to see the diversity in the human experience, in this case represented by mentally ill women who don't want to get a normal job.
>>319652 Your score: 83 of 200 87% probability of being typical (neurotypical) evendoe I'd get an autism diagnosis 10 seconds after stepping into shrink's office
A lot of Jelly hoshiumi clippers stopped clipping jelly hoshiumi after the hiatus for some reason. They haven't come back even though jelly have been posting for a couple of weeks (I check for new jelly hoshiumi clips every single day).
>>319688 Exploring vtuber software, I don't have a webcam doe Also I was able to go from an mmd model to blender to unity to .vrm which was quite a learning experience
Just added jigglebones >>319690 I don't think so since I swear that people need to be normalpsychos in order to pull off streaming, I only took an interest because sometimes people tell me to resurrect my youtube channel
>>319706 No but I thought about doing that with ultra instinct goku voice or yukkuri voice as long as there's free software or models I can train locally for it
>>319748 cool im schizosonic with ptsd i'd love to be more dependent but i dont have anyone to depend on, so i focus on self improvement and becoming great as a cope, just like every other young man these days. im just particularly poor at relationships and particularly good at specializing to achieve greatness at one thing.
>>319779 The thread serves 4 purposes. 3 which are directly beneficial to me. 1. I like to have a page of stuff that I can look back on. It's nice to have a collection of vtuber clips that I can refer to if I want to watch them again. 2. I like to see the clips other people post. 3. It's nice to see people's comments 4. It's fun to share
If I just kept a private list of vtuber clips to search at my leisure, then 3 of the above benefits would disappear (2,3,4, technically 2 would just decrease but not disappear entirely). It takes the same amount of effort to maintain a private list of vtuber clips as it does to maintain a public list so posting a public list is a no brainier.
Huge Nugget drama just dropped. #Nuggetgate > What happened? > In the beginning, Jelly hoshiumi made a joke about showing her nubs at 100,000 subs or something. This was a jest at the old phase connect tradition to show feet at 100,000 subs > People began calling her a nugget (slang for a girl with no hands or legs). > An artist started drawing quadruple amputee images of Jelly hoshiumi > Jelly retweeted it because it was funny. > More people began drawing nugget art of her, eventually this spread outside of her community and people started drawing nugget art of other phase connect talents. > Other phase connect talents begin to seethe at the nugget fanart. > Phase connect members start issuing bans > Tenma bans someone for posting nugget art. > Lumi bans someone from chat for doing something nugget related > Jelly forced to tell her fanbase to cool it with the nugget art, and to stop posting nugget art of other vtubers.
found this while looking for something I forget because I just drank an entire thing of 40abvslop, if it didn't open with soyshit it would be better but it's kind of a nitpick because ==UNWASHED HIKI VTUBER== yeah she's kind of obviously pandering to 4george/soykiddies but just learn to enjoy things goyim
I tried to link one of her streams but this kuso website doesn't know how to parse yt lives Also it's based because the second thing that comes up when you look her up is some drama video by another vtumor about her being a gooner or something
>>319863 Заметил серьёзную ошибку в технике безопасности в видео: автор выложил оба баллона и остался без баллона в руке. Это неправильно.
Баллон — это не просто предмет обзора, а средство самозащиты. Минимум один должен быть всегда наготове. Эффективность — это не только наличие балона, но и скорость его применения.
Почему это важно?
Потому что, по опыту, быдло лезет именно тогда, когда ты по их оценочному мнению к этому не готов.
>>319868 omg kill yuourself jnigger simp, imagine wathinc english vtumors lmao if your parentrs could predict the futue and find outr you would end like this despite threy trying their best they wouldve aborted you
>>319869 > Your parents would have aborted you if ... (seethe english) I was aborted but the doctor couldn't destroy me. Don't let your parents decide your destiny. As long as you beleve in yourself you can thrive.
