It's a sick joke, in order to get a white collar job, you need a white collar job, and the longer you don't have a white collar job, the harder it is to get one. Then when you get one, you end up like me. Where you have to work a job you hate and can't quit because then you're going to struggle twice as long to get the next one.

my mom is a politician and a vice president of a company and both of her jobs heavily involve wrangling unbelievably incompetent and greedy sub 90 iq "professionals" all day and all of them are paid good salaries, not to mention the schoolground tier workplace drama and the men do it too It's whitepilling because people being retarded means you can get ahead but it makes me annoyed about not getting free money or a job for being a genius and stuff
I was interacting with an ultra wealthy boomer at a coffee shop and it was rough, his bottom line advice for every young person is to go at least $100k in debt at all costs to get a CS degree while in the same breath he talked about how the job market is dead and how immigration and AI will continue making it worse, and how there are no opportunities for business anymore like there used to be simply because he was young There was no logical argument or coherency and he didn't acknowledge it or notice

God I could talk about this day for hours even though I enjoyed it, I had to explain the difference between IT and CS to him and he was like "bucko, everything is a computer, computer science is never going away, that register at the counter over there, everything is becoming a computer" I get that people are fake and naturally lie to themselves and etc but because he was ultra wealthy and I was open minded it was shocking and juicy
