i dont have many thoughts regarding the theological concept of lilith. i think it serves as a pretty straightforward lesson that one cannot always think with his penis. women are people and there are a lot of people in the world who suck, who know how to manipulate others for their benefit, and don't care if this is at the other person's expense. I think there's something to be said about how this kind of machiavellianism is sometimes seen as desirable in men but reprehensible in women, when it should be regarded as shameful in everyone. there is a place for cunning, especially when dealing with an enemy, but I'm of the belief that if you are to regard somebody as your enemy, they should know it, and they should reciprocate it in some way or another. To that end, romantically or sexually manipulating somebody is reprehensible, but it also speaks to the depravity of man; you could say a lot of men deserve it if they're seduced and suffer for it, there's no doubt a lot of men just want to fuck and leave, but I think that alongside the vapid, this method catches the sensitive like a drag net, and it perpetuates the cycle of men who believe women are predatory by nature.
this was very stream of consciousness, because I again don't have many specific thoughts on lilith, jezebel, et cetera. like I said, it's a cautionary tale with a fairly straightforward message: temperance. don't chase every shiny thing that's presented to you. don't put yourself in a vulnerable position chasing hedonistic pleasure. that kind of thing.

Oh but also i guess there are Rusalka's in slavic folklore who are basically mermaids who lure people into the water and drown them. A character of the same name was also present in the visual novel Dies Irase (supergemmy), although i think she was based on the opera of the same name (by Dvorak) and not on folklore Rusalka.

Bit of a mouthful but the game has good atmosphere, it's generally a puzzle/walking sim type game and the main draw is the atmosphere, but I think it does it pretty well.

And tbh I think without this character the game would indeed have flown under the radar. That said, she's handled as well as you can. She's not sexualized nor is she like overly mean or edgy, she's largely portrayed as a normal person, so it balances out. If that sounds interesting check it out
