when I have it hand, I prefer maple syrup over adding sugar cane syrup. since I spend a lot, most of most of my time really, in the bush.

I apologies, I prefer to speak australian english which among the native english speaking community is barely considered english. to add on to that I, as an indigenous australian prefor to speak aboriginal australian english.

what I was trying to say is that there is a syrup made by sugar cane, the plant that sugar is made from, that I like to carry into australian wilderness and desert, where there I use it in place of normal sweeteners
