I uninstalled MGSV after playing the hell out of it. Mods allowed me to live out my fantasy of being an ebin spetsnaz high speed low drag operator or something but I think when I uninstalled it I also uninstalled all my mods, I doubt Snakebite will remember them; sad!
Still pissed about
the way they did Paz, and especially Chico. I know the point of it is that
people die for no reason sometimes and no matter how much you try to save somebody sometimes you cant; the game is largely about grief and letting go, and just the message that not everyone can be saved in general but it still sucked. It didn't even make me hate Skull Face, it was just kinda stupid. Aldoe

Like I said, Paz & Chico, the Skulls are kinda stupid and stop being fun to fight after the first time, Skull Face is kind of a nothing villain if you're going into it without knowing what XOF is, and even then his motive is kinda dumb, all the shit with Eli is vital for the story yes but it's written so retardedly it just makes me hate everything to do with the kids.
I know I'm biased but am I the only one who pacifist ran the Soviets and then went on killing sprees against the mercs? I think it's because there's a difference between a soldier and a contract killer, and regardless the CFA are objectively portrayed as wayyyy more actively evil than the shuravi, but it's also the voice acting. I'm sure if I understood Afrikaans it would come across more to me but the Russian VA knocked it out of the park imo in a way the Afrikaans VA didn't; they're both good but I feel like the latter didn't have as much emotion in his lines. Could be wrong doe.
Also hot take, I do not particularly care for Quiet. Her last mission is cool, but beyond that she was probably my least favorite companion aside from the walker. Almost anything she does, D-Dog does better, sorry Quiet fans
