Sounds cozy, I've often thought of what it be like to spend a month in a culture were robes or kimono's are socially acceptable to wear so my balls would have more dangle room than if I was just wearing boxers and baggy sweatpants.

Depends, if your just lounging about or going on lite 30 minute walk then you can get away with such attire but if your scaling a mountain top or trying to pass through a dense forest or jungle then you probably want sturdy pants even if they aren't the most breathable of things to wear.
