Understanding the meaning for why the universe creates life, and therefore must create life, if the thing that created life is to survive after it's inevitable end, then we can absolutely use our brain to hazard a fully workable objective meaning to our existence right now as you're slumped over in your chair staring into a magic glowing rectangle.
The Universe must create life, because life must grow and create ideal simulations to "Keep doing the Brain-stuffs" and make simulations that mirror our needs so we can "Pull the temporal slider forward" and see just a bit further into the future than others. And when we are able to pour all of the watts and amps of an entire star into this simulation, we will have the ability to run simulations that have temporal sliders that can go forward into many directions, serving us rightly, and once we get so good at it, we break out of this universe like an egg, and looking at it from the outside, it's no longer infinite, the galaxies far away are just a screen made to look old.
Meaning you can do something today and tomorrow that may transcend the entire universe, if you do a thing such that without that thing, the universe doesn't close the lightning clap of the beginning to the end, with you in it. And the celestial farmer pulling that plant out of the pot with all its nodes, you in it, can be put into a new pot to do it all again.
The scientist who figures it out and uses the ai powered godscience to crack a portal and say hello to the Demiurge, he shakes his head: "ugh, another busted pot, I really should upgrade these kirkland brand universepots".
