>>240442From what I've read, psilocybin mushrooms (if that's what you are taking) lose potency if you cook them because it destroys the psilocybin. I also read that they don't taste nearly as bad if you eat them fresh. Fresh psilocybin mushrooms have water in them so you need to eat more weight to get the general effect and fresh mushrooms generally act faster than dried because they contain the active form of psilocybin (psilocin) which means your body dosen't have to convert the psilocybin into psilocin to get the effect.
I haven't tried anything myself, that's just what I've read about them.
