>>400815 Cats knead like that because of a leftover instinct from their childhood when they used to do it to get more milk from their mothers although i forgot why they keep doing that in adulthood
>>403152 What type of litterboxes and litter do you use? I use clumping cat litter but the pee has seeped through and formed very hard clumps at the bottom of my plastic litterbox which are difficult to remove. My small plastic litter shovel cannot pierce through them, they're gemmy. Once I've emptied & cleaned out the litterbox I'll try adding more litter than last time but the goal is to replace my current once with a stainless steel one.
>>403155 Kyrpänaama >>403156 No way that's knuckle dragging nigger retarded I scoop the box every one to two days The litterbox itself doesn't need to be emptied out that often
>>403153 I use a stainless steel litterbox and fill it up halfway with this I clean it once per day I have a spare litterbox in my bathroom that they use once a week
>>403159 I only have a single litterbox and even though it's not optimal I'd prefer to keep it that way because I live in an apartment with limited space. The litters I use are in the picrels. It's full of the unscented one and has a small layer of the green one but it doesn't mask the smell at all. The side of the green bag says I should pray it with water or something but that's something I haven't tried yet. < The shitty image I drew is how I have them setup right now. On the right of the image is my shower and the rest of the bathroom. The stench of shit and piss is quite strong and I'm down to try options to try to lessen it.
>>403161 You can tip the litterbox to one side, scoop the piss crystals and dump in toilet, repeat on other side, flush In general you'll get the smell profile you want the more you clean it
>>403164 That's highly efficient and cleanly in my situation because the litter doesn't clump particularly tight Also spray the green one with water and see what happens
>>403170 Yeah I checked the bag image I posted and it does say clumping but the typical dusty clumping litter you can buy anywhere is ridiculous to excavate while the product I have doesn't clump much at all
It boils down to paying like 30% more for a superior product probably I had forgotten the mediocrity of typical clumping litter but I'd clean it twice per day if I were using it again because the difficulty to clean grows non linearly
I just dump the kitty litter over the back fence, since there's no one back there. though some times I scoop it out and through it on my neighbour's roof when I want to fuck with him.
