As far as I understand it a woman's body does go through crazy ass hormonal changes after birth which is how you get pp depression, cravings, etc, which is how the defense (iirc) is trying to make an insanity case. I'm not entirely opposed to that but I guess it raises the question of if you should be able to get insanity if you're only out of your mind at the time of the crime and not chronically. Sounds like kind of a nothingburger case in the grand scheme of things, either she killed them knowingly, and should be given murder, or didn't, and should be given insanity.
