im looking into <10 yo dell precision and latitude craptops for tinkering and collecting pizza because the good chinkpads are now too old to do basic shit and their successors are made just as cheaply as any other business laptop and dell accidentally made certain generations with more repairable/replaceable parts than their chinkpad equivalents and theyre naturally going to cost less for more because they don't have the word thinkpad in their name
