The beef between the Tali and ISIS stems from their belief systems; ISIS is best thought of as the Trotskyists of Jihadism, they essentially believe that the entire world should be united as one, borderless, Islamic nation, and in fact see the idea of national borders as anti-Islamic. In this analogy, the Taliban are sort of the Stalinists, where they want to practice Islamic fundamentalism within the borders of Afghanistan. Also, ISIS wants to exterminate the Shia, while the Taliban generally are content with oppressing them.
Ever since ISIS got big, they and the Tali have been at war. Afaik the Taliban are incredibly proficient at smoking ISIS rats and as noted above one of the first things they did was execute like 100 of them once they came into power. Extremely based.
