>Be me approximately 2 hours ago >Playing board game with IRL nerd friends >Get randomly selected Knight character class >Literally the only good alignment character, everybody else is evil >Begin with some good old fashion religious suffering >Roll the exact same number for four turns in a row >Go back and forth between plain grasslands where literally nothing happens, and church where I pray and nothing happens either >On the fifth turn, chance upon the Holy Grail which can't even be held by evil characters >mfw this is a sign, all servants of Satan must die in the name of God >Continuously roll perfect amounts to move onto my enemies and attack them over the next several turns >They use evil powers to cheat and increase their strength but I cheat harder with the knight's intrinsic power to match an enemy's higher strength >No matter how many times I meet the enemies of mankind in battle and best them, they always seem to escape unscathed nonetheless >Eventually the tables turn and they start to best me >One of them also gets possessed by a demon which gives him massive psychic attack, something the knight powers can't help defend against >He and I try and fail to attack one another for several turns >Eventually he lands on a tile which allows him to literally teleport onto me next turn >I die
Was fun, would go on Quixotic adventures symbolic of the true nature of myself and all my friends again
