I got sunscreen only recently sadly, but before that I did my best to wear clothes that don't leave too much skin, sadly my neck was always exposed and it got so scorched it felt so dry and rough it was literally painful

Thinking of getting an AK at some point - I think they look cooler than ARs and I'll get plenty of experience with ARs anyway in the military, but right now, I'm wondering if anyone here is experienced with AKs - what are some things I should know? Is Century Arms good? I was gonna get a WASR, but if anyone knows any better models, definitely drop them in this thread. Are palm magazines (like the ones shown in the WASR-10 promo pics) good, or should I go for steel combloc mags? Does it matter? What tools should I get? Are there dedicated AK cleaning kits out there? Does wooden furniture have any problems unique to it, and are they significant enough to be worth springing for polymer instead?

Just make sure you do your research, the Polish make great AK's (for themselves mostly) but have a reputation for exporting mostly garbage.

Granted with ammo prices being what they are nowadays you'll probably never shoot enough in one of those to the point of it being dangerous BUT under normal times... Fuck it, get an AK from Kel-tec if they ever make one then.
